What we believe
- Direct it like a real shoot. Camera, light, continuity, performance and sound are decided before anything is generated. That is the difference between a film and a demo.
- Approve on paper. Every scene is storyboarded and signed off by the client before production, so changes happen where they are cheap and there are no reshoots.
- Say what it is. We tell clients and audiences that the work is made with AI. Concept films on tracks we did not commission are labelled unofficial.
- Real people only with consent. A face appears in our work only from that person's own photos and footage, with their written agreement.
- The product is sacred. Shape, colours, label and text stay exactly as the client's photos show them. We build the world around the product, never the product itself.

Who does what
Three co-founders run dotMD from Cairo. One leads AI production and the pipeline: casting, locations, shots, edit and grade. One leads creative direction, editing, the brand and the company's infrastructure. One leads sales, partnerships and marketing, and is usually the first person a client talks to. Around them is a set of tools and methods built across every production so far, and a storyboard-first process that does not change from project to project.
Where we work
The studio is in Cairo. Clients are in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and everything happens remotely: the brief, the storyboard review, the approvals and the delivery. There is a phone number in each country, and we reply within one working day in Arabic or English.
Who we work with
Brands in food and drinks, fashion, beauty and fragrance, real estate, hospitality, tourism, retail and tech; independent artists and record labels; and the social media, marketing and advertising agencies that serve them, who use dotMD as a white-label production partner behind their own campaigns.
