White label: how it works
The agency briefs dotMD the way it would brief an in-house production team. dotMD returns a plan and an exact quote within one working day, writes and storyboards the film, and the agency reviews the storyboard, alone or with the end client, under its own name. Production, editing, colour, sound and voice follow, and the deliverables arrive in every format, unbranded, ready for the agency to present. dotMD's name appears nowhere unless the agency wants it to. The agency sets its own price to its client.
Confidentiality is simple: the client is the agency's. dotMD does not contact the client, does not pitch to them and does not show the work in its portfolio without the agency's written permission.
Referral: how it works
Some agencies manage social accounts, media or strategy and do not want to run production at all. They introduce the client to dotMD, dotMD handles the brief, the production and the billing directly, and the agency receives a referral commission on the project. The terms are written down before the first introduction.
What agencies commission most
- Monthly batches of Reels and TikToks for retainer clients, in Egyptian or Gulf Arabic or English.
- Product launch films and catalogue visuals for retail and F&B clients, with the product kept exactly as photographed.
- Ad films and TV commercials where a shoot would eat the whole budget.
- Pitch films: a concept brought to life for a new-business pitch before the client has signed.
- Fashion, beauty and fragrance films for seasonal campaigns.
- Music videos and artwork for label and artist clients.
Why agencies use dotMD
- Speed: about nine working days from brief to final film, so the agency can promise video inside a campaign calendar.
- No production overhead: no producers, crews or kit to carry between campaigns.
- Predictable cost: an exact quote per film, no shoot-day contingency, which makes the agency's own pricing simple.
- Every format: 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and stills from one production, which is what a social calendar needs.
- Revisions on paper: the end client approves the storyboard, so the expensive change requests happen before production.
- Bilingual by default: Arabic and English from the same storyboard for GCC and Egyptian audiences.
